My Philosophy
Your wedding day is unique to you, your partner, and the love story that you share. Your photographs should be an authentic representation of that. Part of the AJV wedding experience is ensuring I learn about you and your wedding day vision, so that your gallery tells the story of both your wedding day and your personalities. From hearing who is a VIP in attendance on your wedding day, to knowing whether you are an introvert or extrovert, these details help me to deliver a wedding day experience that makes you feel comfortable and supported.

On your wedding day, we’re not just your photographers; we’re your allies in creating a smooth and joyful experience. We arrive early to get acquainted with the venue and meet your wedding party VIPs. Throughout the day, we blend into the background, capturing candid moments while being available for any guidance or support you may need. Our aim is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed, allowing your love to shine through naturally in every photo.

After your wedding, we know you’re excited to relive your special day through our lens. That’s why we provide a sneak peek of some of the most memorable moments within 24 hours of your wedding. We then meticulously edit and curate your full gallery, ensuring every image reflects the beauty and emotion of your day. Once your gallery is ready, we deliver it with a personalized note and offer guidance on selecting prints or creating albums.

YOU SHOULD KNOW
You deserve to *enjoy* your day — hire a planner!
(And so do your friends and family.) Which is why I recommend hiring a planner or coordinator to help you — ask for a list of my favorites!
Be truly present with your spouse, family and friends.
If this means skipping out on some of the traditional aspects of a wedding day so that you have more time with your spouse, go for it! Your wedding is your own and I firmly believe there are no "rules"
A great DJ is worth their weight in gold.
If you want to have a night filled with fun and dancing, make sure you hire an amazing DJ. They will know how to engage your guests, and help you keep the flow of the reception on track.
Have the wedding you want, not the wedding they want.
Your friends just want to celebrate with you. Don't get so caught up with trying to make everyone else happy, or following all the "wedding rules" that you forget to have fun and enjoy your day.

Q. Are you willing to travel?
Yes, we love traveling for weddings! We’re based in Ohio, but are available for destination weddings and elopements. Contact us to discuss your specific plans and how we can accommodate your destination wedding.
Q. What if I want additional photographers?
Additional Professional Photographers can be added on to any collection. After all, more cameras mean more memories captured.
Q. How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, ideally 9-12 months before your wedding date. This allows us ample time to get to know you, plan your engagement session, and ensure every detail is covered. Popular dates fill up quicker, especially if you are getting married during "peak season"
Q. How long will it take to receive our photos?
You can expect to receive your edited wedding gallery within 6 weeks after your wedding day. For Portrait Sessions, your edited gallery will be ready within 10 days from your session.
Q. Can we print the photos from our project on our own?
Absolutely! You will receive a print release, allowing you to print all your favorite photographs at your discretion. You also have the convenience of ordering prints right from your gallery.
Q. How do you handle backup equipment and data ?
We take backups seriously. We use professional-grade cameras and carry backup equipment to every wedding. During the event, we back up your photos to multiple memory cards. After the wedding, we securely store and back up your photos on multiple drives to ensure their safety.
